No. 1

This is a handmade zine produced and published in 2021 by Push Pull Press (oh wait that's me)

It's a collection of works from creative folks from all over, and as the name implies an ode to graphite based mark making. I didn't have a theme or set many limitations on contributors, it simply had to be graphite based and my plan was to keep them all to scale as originally drawn. From there folks were invited to submit drawings, sketches, doodles, rants, poems, grocery lists etc. People then mailed originals or sent scans and from there I took over. Managing the entire project from top to bottom, concept to completion.

Issue No. 5 and 6 are the final two in the series as a tribute to the six sided hexagonal mark making device itself. There is still some space left in those and expecting submissions from hopefuls and ongoing conversations in the "i'm working on it" department. I aim to have them done by the Holidays...but you cant rush creative folks.

- 32 pages of creative content from 27 contributors
- Covers were letterpess printed on 65 lb cover stock with metallic ink
- Interior pages were photocopied on 60 lb text weight paper
- Saddle stapled with 3/8" corners cut
